Mint condition Waltham Diver Swiss made circa 1970’s. The model is B339 with a caliber FHF 905 self-winding. The dial is black with grey dart hour and stunning original T Swiss Made T dial, original handset, and original rotating bezel. On the dial, below the Waltham you have the inscription “Selfwinding” and at 6 o’clock you have “Incabloc 17 jewels”. The 6, 9 and 12 hours are Arabic numbers. The date window is at 3 o’clock. The second hand is in a red/orange color. The luminous are perfect on the hands and dots at 12, 6 and 9.
The case is a screw-down solid polished in stainless steel with a 36 mm size excluding the original signed crown. It is Engraved, "Waltham - All stainless steel case automatic Swiss made".
Inside the case you have engraved “Waltham Watch Co – Swiss Made” #1741Z-84-5 and #B339 – 905. On the movement you have 17 jewels and caliber FHF 905. The incabloc are beautiful. New sport leather handcrafted watch band.
Waltham was founded in 1885 in Massachusetts. The company decided the mass production of cheap watches as its strategy. Models for men began with the outbreak of World War I and brought booming business. The end of the war threw the company into a severe crisis. In 1955, the end of the production in the US comes and the company closed definitely.
