Iconic Gerald Genta Gefica in bronze with calendar and moon phase meteorite

Iconic Gerald Genta Gefica watch. The dial is round with red color. It has dots for each hour with excellent luminous. On the dial comes 4 sub dials, the 12 o’clock for the moon phase, the 3 o’clock the date, the 9 o’clock the day and the 6 o’clock the GMT function. The hands have a stick shape with excellent luminous. The second hand has a red color. The case is in bronze with hobnail texturing around the side and the screw back case is in stainless steel with engraved outside “Gefica – G27787 – 40325”. The watch has a quartz movement with ETA caliber. The watch comes with the original Gerald Genta brown band and the double clasp buckle holds a compass.

History

Gerald Genta started his career when he was 15 years old. After fashion, he realized that his love was watches. He started to sketch watches on paper and become very quickly successful. His drawing and design are for Audemars Piguet, Omega, Bulgari and Patek Philippe. In 1972, he bought two unknown watch companies and started to hire employees for his own production. He started to have success with the Mickey watch and its complication. In 1994, his company is taking over by Henri Tay Yun Chwan located in Singapore and his company “The Hour Glass”. 1998, the company merges with Daniel Roth. Since 1999, the company is owned by Bulgari S.A. Gerald Genta is one of the 20 century most famous watchmaker.
