Beautiful stainless-steel light rectangular gray dial with 3 sub dials, minutes at 3 o’clock, seconds at 6 o’clock and hours at 9 o’clock. The hours are marked with dots. The hands are in yellow, blue and red colors. The window for the date comes at 6 o’clock. Crown and pushers come with different styles and colors. It is a stainless-steel screwed back case with crystal exhibition sapphire with engraved around “Bolido Krono – Frabrique en France – Etanche 30 m – 19/100 – Boitier acier”. The watch has the Frederic Piguet automatic movement with caliber 1185 and 37 jewels. The watch comes with a stainless-steel bracelet and double clasp buckle. The bracelet fits a 8 inches wrist.
Alain Silberstein started his company with his wife Sylvie in Paris in 1990. He is an architect and designer and then started to create extravagant watches, having his own style, color and aesthetic inspired by the German Bauhaus movement. His unorthodox style brings a fresh air of creativity in the world of Swiss watch industry making his timepieces unique. Unfortunately, the company closed down and for this reason the remaining pieces are becoming rarer and more collectible. One of his famous line is the Bolido collection in steel or titanium.
