Beautiful Zenith El Primero 36,000 VpH with black round dial and 3 sub dials, for minutes at 3 ‘o’clock, hours at 6 o’clock and seconds at 9 o’clock. Each hour is marked with a stainless steel baton. The outer white ring comes for the minutes. At 6 o’clock, you have the date window. The hands are in stainless steel with a modern version of Dauphine style. At 6 o’clock is engraved “Chronometer”. The crown comes with the Zenith logo. It is a screwed stainless steel case with a crystal exhibition back case to admire the beautiful automatic El Primero movement with caliber 400. Around the back case is engraved “Zenith – El Primero – 03.2110.400 – 126756 – 50m”. The watch comes with a black crocodile strap and original Zenith buckle. It is a full set including watch, box, manuals and warranty cards.
A man called Georges Favre Jacot set-up a company in 1865. He experienced a large successful offering pocket watches as accuracy as possible. In 1896, it won a gold medal at the Swiss National Exhibition. In 1960, Zenith takes over Martel Watch Co., which developed the calibers 285 and 749 for Universal. They became the 246 Zenith family. In 1969, Zenith introduces the first ever-automatic chronograph with central winding rotor, the mythical “El Primero”. Since 1999, the company is owned by LVMH. Their current leading products are “Chronomaster XXT”, the tourbillon chronograph, the “Traveler” and “Defy Xtreme”.
